Overview

Your iStay@Home Mobile App is available to download for free - both for iphone at the App Store or Android from google Play.

Unlike many mobile Apps, The iStay@Home mobile App. is extremely easy to read and even easier to follow. Almost all functions are visible imediately with no confusing menu’s to become lost in. You’ll learn how to read the App in no time. Then at a quick glance you’ll be able to work out if everything is ok at your loved ones home or not as you would expect.

We will over the first few weeks fine tune the system so that you receive notifications and SMS alerts when there is unusual activity or an unexpected lack of activity at your loved ones home. These notifications and alerts will prompt you to make a call to ensure your loved one is ok.

Most Recent Activities

The topmost row of tiles displays the most recent activity the sensors have detected in your loved ones home. Follow the footsteps from right to left - we see there was activity for around 15 minutes in the Living Room, then a minute of activity in the Entryway and back to the Living Room where they have been for 38 minutes.

Activity Ribbon

Under the top three tiles is the Activity Ribbon. The Activity Ribbon tells a story in real time and back in time over the last 24 hours to give you an idea of the kinds of activities and where in the home they ocurred.

For example at a glance we can see in the bedroom ribbon at the top, our loved one had a reasonably restful nights sleep, had a quick bathroom visit at 6am then back to bed and likely got up around 8am.

With current time on the right hand side. Working back to the left we can see the activity blocks in the Living Room, the short activity block in the Entryway and prior to that more in the Living Room. Going back an hour to just after 8am we see the Fridge door was opened and prior to that more activity in the living room and Entryway.

The Activity Ribbon scrolls out from the left side revealing more activity back to 24 hours prior to current time.

IN/OUT status

The top lefthand tile shows the most recent activity in the home. This tile also shows us at a glance if your loved one is IN or has gone OUT. If they leave the home via a door with magnet sensors attached and no further activity is detected in the home, the tile will switch to OUT, showing they they have left the home. WE can also configure the system to send you notifications or even SMS alerts when the IN/OUT Status changes.

ASLEEP/AWAKE status

Under the Activity Ribbon, the lefthand tile shows us the ASLEEP/AWAKE status of your loved one. This is great information to have, so you won’t disturb your loved ones sleep with a phone call for instance. Over time, the amount and quality of your loved ones sleep may help in your decisions as to whether they need a new, more comfortable bed or if perhaps their medication is stopping restful sleep.

In AWAKE mode, this tile shows what time your loved one got up, how many hours of good uninterrupted they had and a sleep quality percentage.

In ASLEEP mode the tile shows what time your loved one went to bed and how many hours they have been asleep so far.
